I don't SUB 4 SUB..
This channel is mostly focused on speed running that includes tricks, glitches, individual levels or full game runs. The console games are recorded from a DVD recorder while the DS console is modded to support USB video output. The videos that say TAS means it is a Tools Assisted Speedrun/Superplay showing gameplay that usually surpass human limits. Tetris DS is a good example of a speedy TAS.

This video was meant to be up on June 10th but it got auto content ID flagged by CDBaby on the iconic SNES track: Stickerbush Symphony... well a specific part as the majority was reused later on but not a complete loop which didn't get flagged..
So the easiest way was instead of waiting 30 days for a dispute to no response victory, was to use the GBA track ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I think I went a little too far as it is currently the LONGEST comparison video on my channel, clocking in at nearly 5 hours.
For specific subjects I tend to cover the majority otherwise it'll take forever because if I did I would have to compare every single enemy AI tweak and every single barrel cannon tweak (yes, they're not 1:1 when compared to SNES but some were featured as examples).
Boss related changes such as audio, graphics and mechanics were tied to Boss Battles chapter and not Game Mechanics chapter (I think a few slipped through maybe..), even if I don't directly mention them, they're obvious to notice such as boss Krow's cry and Kudgel's voice samples.
I started this project back in late December 2023 and took roughly a month break in Feb/March due to European Speedrunner Assembly marathon stuff.
This is a very, very long video so take breaks when you can, seriously sitting down all day is NOT good for your health.

Tompa - for helping me find the memory values for the barrel cannons with time limits. It allowed me to verifiy if the screen wrap trick in Fiery Furnace (W8-4) works on GBA which did for V1.0 SNES but not V1.1 SNES

How are you able to do the backwards walk to get link and Zelda in the Exploration Glitch (EG) state? I would love to be able to do this to simplify a project I’m working on.

I just love, LOVE the fact that, not only do the JP VAs dub the EN lines like usual, but even the EN VAs dubbed the JP lines. Freaking love this attention to detail and the willingness to do that extra bit of work just because it's cooler. Amazing job from Inti.

Not "color". The game used "it's" incorrectly. "It's" is a shorter way to say "it is". So "reusing the boss, changing it is color" is incorrect. The correct way is: "reusing the boss, changing its color".

Even if I say yes, please understand they take a very long time to produce, the main culprit is the level design. Rocket Rush on GBA for example has completely redone the placement for both enemies and items.

It's weird how Donkey Kong Country basically was re-released twice on Nintendo's handheld systems. Sure, Land 1 was radically different so they had to make DKC for the Gameboy Color but Land 2 and 3 were close to their Country counterparts. The people behind the GBA ports did a good job imo. I wish the DS had the trilogy as a whole in a collection...

The purple Squawks is called "Quawks" and is a cousin of Squawks. Quawks lacks the ability to fire coconuts at his foes.
Yes, the most interesting thing is the history of the name: Quawks was a thing in JP localised material of DKC2 and DKC3 but Quawks (as a name) first English appearance was DK Barrel Blast. Source: www.mariowiki.com/Quawks I would've used that name for the video but it was never used in-game during the animal buddies section of the ending.

Great video! But FYI it's hard to read the text on the bottom on mobile. The UA-cam title and such on shorts is covering up all the text. If I pull up the comments I can read the video but it makes the screen really small.
